The 2nd Trade, Tourism and Investment Business Forum

After the success of the first Trade, Tourism & Investment (TTI) Business Forum in 2019, Krista Exhibitions in collaboration with HIPPINDO (Indonesian Shopping Centre Tenants Association) held the 2nd TTI Business Forum on Wednesday the 19th of February at the Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, in Jakarta from 12 noon to 5pm in the evening.

The main purpose of holding this forum was to highlight the importance whilst supporting the Trade, Tourism and Investment initiatives that are being rolled out by President Jokowi’s administration. One such example was the recently held Indonesian Discount Shopping Day and Local Brands Parade which was held in Senayan City in August 2019. 

 

Listed as key speakers expected to be present during this TTI Forum were the Minister for Trade, Mr. Agus Suparmanto, Head of the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board, Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister for Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Wishnutama Kusubandio, Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr. Teten Masduki, Mr. Mahendra Siregar Deputy Foreign Minister of Indonesia, and Mr. Erick Thohir, the Minister for State Owned Enterprises.

The event was attended by more than 300 participants consisting of various foreign dignitaries, ambassadors and trade attaches from over 70 countries such as the USA, China, Philippines, India, United Kingdom, Iraq, Japan, Cambodia, Korea, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and members of various Indonesian associations such as HIPPINDO, APINDO, PHRI, VIWI, APGAI, AP3MI, PEKERTINDO, AFI, GAPMI, APRISINDO, AITI, APPBI, GAMATRINDO, PPAK, IPF, PMMC, PPGI, IHGMA DKI, APJI, PPJI, ARPI, AP5I, APKI amongst several others all of whom were present to get the inside track on understanding the potential and investment programs that have been developed to further strengthen, growth, trade, bilateral relations and most importantly the betterment of society as a whole for Indonesia and for all countries participating in this excellent forum.
