Ultra-performance Sunscreen: Doctor Babor Protect Cellular

The new Doctor Babor Protect Cellular cream is more than just a sunscreen. It not only offers 360° protection against photo-aging but also shields the skin against pollu-aging.

All four Doctor Babor Protect Cellular products contain a precisely coordinated combination of active ingredients. The Protec Complex with sunflower shoot extract and tannins from the tara bush protects against photo-aging caused, amongst other things, by blue light and IR radiation. This plant-based complex has particularly high anti-oxidative potential. It supports mitochondrial activity, thus ensuring high cellular energy levels, even in the case of oxidative stress. And the special feature: it contains an extract of cassia didymobotrya, which is activated at the precise moment when UV rays attack the DNA, thus protecting the skin and repairing damage that has already occurred.

Broad-spectrum filters provide all-round protection against UVA and UVB radiation, while highly effective radical quenchers (vitamin E and vitamin C) are embedded in a carrier capsule which is activated by UV light to protect the skin against pollu-aging caused by smog or nanoparticles. This ensures that vitamins are delivered to the skin and take effect when needed. In addition, matrix-forming biosaccharides form a protective film on the surface of the skin, instantly strengthening the skin’s natural protective barrier and preventing harmful environmental substances or dirt particles from penetrating the skin. These modern formulations are free from perfume and artificial colorants and feel super light on the skin.
