Chinoiserie Themed Wedding A Joyous occasion for Ayla Dimitri and Rama Devara

On the 6th of Octber 2019, a glamorous wedding was held to celebrate the union of Ayla Dimitri and Rama Devara at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jakarta. 

Ayla Dimitri began the day by having her make up done by Bubah Alfian, who uses bright and neutral-colored makeup, with her hair styled in a simple but classic updo style.

The real highlight of the wedding ceremony was the traditional kebaya worn by Ayla by designer Sapto Djojokartiko. The kebaya style followed the theme of the chinoiserie and each sequin embroidery told its own story. Some were shaped like birds, palm trees, humans and houses.

The ceremony continued with a sungkeman event, where the newlyweds requested prayers and blessings from each of their parents. Ayla Dimitri chose this theme because she has always liked the colors of traditional Chinese culture, and she wanted to bring the colors and concepts alive in a modern way.

For the reception, the decoration made use of a lot of red and purple flowers in the ballroom. The ceiling chandelier was also decorated with a long orange tassel. There were large bronze leaves as centerpieces.

The happy couple welcomed their guests, including famous celebrities such as Rachel Vennya, Dimas Beck, and Julie Estelle.

They had further more more unforgettable moments that night, from the bride who shared her first dance with her beloved father, then with her husband, to dancing to music with friends and family in attendance.
