on Thursday, October 06, 2022, in commemoration of National Batik Day, Alleira Batik in collaboration with Perempuan Tangguh Indonesia (PTI) held the "Batik Day Celebration" event which was held at the Mitra Hadiprana Gallery, Kemang, South Jakarta.
Carrying the title “No One Left Behind”, Perempuan Tangguh Indonesia conducts trainings for persons with disabilities so that they can live on an equal footing with the community, and not always be considered backward.
Myra Winarko, Chairperson of the Perempuan Tangguh Indonesia (PTI) said that by providing regular, patient and diligent training as well as facilitating people with deafness in developing self-confidence, skills and access in the business world, they will be able to compete with other people in the entrepreneurial world.
This time, Alleira Batik held a fashion show, in which 10% of the sales proceeds were used to help people with disabilities and women who do not have adequate economic access in Indonesia.
