Henshin is teaming up with Alquímico to feature the talents of two distinguished South American women: Mishelle Vivanco Pedraza, a mixologist from Alquímico, and Diana Matute, the food curator from Henshin. Together, they present a unique pairing of five cocktails with Neo-South American anticuchos, available at Henshin from April 23 to April 27, 2024.
Each pairing includes a selection of special concoctions crafted by Mishelle, such as CURANDERO, AYÚ, PLAYBOY, REGRESAR, and CAFETERO, accompanied by a choice of anticucho or bites prepared by Chef Diana. These pairings feature dishes like Piña-Panca, Beef Amarillo Chimichurri, Hamachi Rocoto Ceviche, Chicken Teriyaki, and Strawberry Dark Chocolate. This unique pairing experience is available for IDR 220,000++.
Mishelle, a native of Cartagena, Colombia, serves as a mixologist at Alquímico, ranked #9 on The World’s 50 Best Bars and named The Best Bar in South America in 2023. Besides her expertise in mixology, she is also a contemporary and ballet dancer with a passion for music, especially Latin and African rhythms. Mishelle has represented Colombia in the first edition of the 50 Best and The Blend Scholarship, achieving a top-20 global position, and became a national finalist in a sustainability competition.
She will be collaborating with Henshin’s Chef de Cuisine, Diana Matute, who hails from Peru. Chef Diana incorporates her childhood memories and Peruvian heritage into a delightful Nikkei culinary journey, featuring dishes like cebiches, tiraditos, and more. Henshin, the highest dining and bar in town, was recently awarded one of Asia’s Top 80 Fine Dining restaurants in 2023.
