The National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), Singapore is the national specialist centre and regional centre for clinical referrals for the management and treatment of the neurosciences, as well as for education and research conducted in the field. NNI offers over 20 subspecialties in neuroscience care and treats a broad range of illness affecting the brain, spine, nerves and muscles. NSC started its operations on 1 November 1988 after taking over the treatment of skin diseases from Middle Road Hospital. We handle a patient load of about 1,000 patients daily. We are a public health institution and a member of the National Healthcare Group (NHG), sharing the NHG vision of "Adding years of healthy life".
As a tertiary health care institution, the NSC provides specialised dermatological services, trains medical students and post graduates, and undertakes research in dermatology. e in Singapore and across the region.
