Killiney Kopitiam started in 1919 as a little known traditional Hainanese style kopitiam called Qiong Xin He along Killiney Road. Over the years, it came to be famous for its Kaya Toast, French Toast and freshly brewed Kopi and Teh. In 1992, Mr. Woon, a regular customer bought over the shop from its retiring owners and expanded the business throughout Singapore and overseas. There are now over 50 Killiney outlets worldwide.
Due to popular demand Killiney is now extending our concept to our muslim friends with the introduction of Kedai Killiney Kopi. A ‘Kedai’ is a traditional family owned shop commonly found in Malaysia and Indonesia. Drawing from its inspiration, Kedai Killiney Kopi will endeavour to serve quality food within a family-like atmosphere.
