Enjoying a prime location along Boat Quay, the grandly named Maharajah is an authentic Indian restaurant that specialises in North Indian, Kashmiri and Mughal cuisine. Patronised by locals and expatriates alike, it is also the first North Indian restaurant to offer home delivery services under the banner of Dial-A-Curry. There are plenty of delightfully spicy delights to choose from, but if it's chef specialties that you're looking for, go for the Lamb Seekh Kebab. It sees lightly spiced minced lamb that have been garnished with onion and spices wrapped around skewers. You can also never go wrong with their options of chicken curry. The Butter Chicken, which sees boneless pieces of chicken cooked in a mild creamy sauce of tomatoes and butter, is divine.
