Tai Cheong Bakery Singapore was opened in conjunction with The Food People Pte Ltd and Tai Cheong Bakery Hong Kong. Tai Cheong Bakery started in Singapore as a series of small pop-up stores in Takashimaya in March & May 2016, subsequently opening its first permanent store in Takashimaya basement in July 2016. Following its success, Tai Cheong Bakery opened a Cha Chaan Tang at Holland Village in November 2016.
