Anne Fontaine, as a girl growing up in Rio de Janeiro, discovered the treasures, the riches and the draw of the lush Amazon rainforest. Her true bond and deep connection with the Amazon has stayed with her ever since. Passionately interested in the environment from a very early age, the designer lived with an indigenous Brazilian tribe who shared with her the secrets of the natural world, hence Anne Fontaine Foundation was formed in 2011 as non-profit organization mainly for deforestation.

For Anne Fontaine, fashion is, above all else, a matter of style, harmony and natural elegance. In her perpetual quest to achieve the balance of yin and yang, each season she gives new form to elegance, while always being firmly grounded in the idea of daily pleasure.
