Maje is a French women's ready-to-wear brand created in 1999 in Paris by Judith Milgrom, the younger sister of Sandro founder Evelyne Chétrite. Barely a year after the brand was launched it opened its first store at 42 Rue du Four, in Paris' 6th arrondissement and it has gone on to achieve French high-street success as the girl-about-Paris' brand of choice. Known for its delicate blouses, folk-rock shirts, cashmere jumpers and ethnic-inspired accessories, Judith Milgrom has brought a romantic, bohemian tone to all her collections for Maje, which has become the brand's signature style.
